CE Credit Acceptance Information

Maine accepts Elevate CE's credits for social workers.

The Maine Board of Social Worker Licensure sets forth acceptable activities for continuing education. 25 total hours of continuing education are required for renewal. 15 hours must provide immediate interaction with an instructor and 10 hours may be completed through self-paced trainings where an instructor is not available for immediate interaction. Elevate CE's Live Webinars fulfill the 15 hour requirement for immediate instructor interaction and Elevate CE's recorded webinars fulfill the 10 hours that does not require instruction real-time interaction. Elevate Continuing Education, #1816, formerly Maryland CEU Institute is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program.

Elevate Continuing Education has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No.7347. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Elevate Continuing Education is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

Maine accepts Elevate CE's Credit Hours for professional counselors.

The Maine Board of Counseling Professionals states acceptable continuing education as follows in Chapter 7-A of their Rules and Regulations "Continuing education activities directly relating to the theory and practice of professional counseling may be offered by departments of regionally-accredited institutions, by national, state or local professional organizations or associations, by public or private human services organizations, or by private consultants or individuals". Elevate Continuing Education is authorized by the National Board for Certified Counselors, a nationally recognized professional organization.
