New York does not accept Elevate CE's credits for social workers.
New York only accepts courses which have received individual course approval directly through NY State Board of Social Work. Although our company is an approved CE provider (ACE) through Association of Social Work Board (ASWB) our courses have not been individually approved through New York and therefore New York does not accept the courses that we offer. If this changes, we hope to offer CEs to New York Social Workers at a future time.

Can I earn CE credits from Elevate Continuing Education?
No, New York State does not accept CE credits from Elevate Continuing Education. While our courses are approved through the ASWB ACE program and accepted in most other states, New York has its own separate approval process and provider list, which we are not part of. If you are a New York-licensed social worker, our CE credits will not count toward your license renewal.
Are there any course format requirements or limitations for New York social workers?
You can only take up to 12 hours of self-study continuing education in any 36-month period, or one-third of the total hours in shorter periods, from providers approved by the New York State Education Department.
